Linux Infrastructure & Automation

Production-grade automation and infrastructure work for teams that need it done right.

I help small teams and growing companies automate their Linux infrastructure, harden their systems, and build observability into their stack. If you don’t have a dedicated DevOps engineer — or your team is stretched thin and needs extra hands — I can step in and get the work done.

Everything I offer comes from production experience, not certification courses. I’ve managed Rocky Linux infrastructure for enterprise ecommerce, built self-hosted ELK stacks, deployed OKD clusters, and automated server provisioning end-to-end with Ansible. I bring that same approach to every engagement.

Service Offerings

Ansible Automation & IaC

Write and deploy Ansible playbooks that automate server provisioning, configuration management, package deployment, and application setup. Go from manual runbooks to repeatable, version-controlled infrastructure.

🔒

Linux Server Hardening

Lock down Rocky Linux and RHEL systems — Duo 2FA, SSH hardening, firewall rules, TLS certificate management, and Microsoft Defender integration. Security that's automated and consistent across every host.

📊

Observability & Monitoring

Deploy and configure ELK Stack, Checkmk, and Grafana with InfluxDB. Centralized logging, real-time dashboards, and alerting so you see problems before your users do.

📦

Container Orchestration

Build and configure OKD/OpenShift or Kubernetes clusters with Rook/Ceph storage, Istio service mesh, and MetalLB load balancing. Production-grade container infrastructure, automated with Ansible.

Example Engagements

These aren't case studies — they're descriptions of the kind of work I do. Every environment is different, but these give you a sense of scope.

How It Works

Engagements typically start with a short call to scope the work. I'll give you an honest estimate and a fixed quote — no hourly billing surprises. Most projects are 1–5 days of work.

Get Started

Every engagement starts with a conversation. Tell me what you're working with and what you need, and I'll tell you honestly whether I can help and what it'll take.
